OBC Cell

The institute has formed OBC cell on 02/08/2017 as per the guidelines of AICTE/UGC/SPPU to promote the special interests of students in the reserved category. It is expected to provide special inputs in areas where the students experience difficulties.

Objectives

• To ensure provisions for an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
• To empower the faculty and students belong to other backward communities (OBC).
• To conduct orientation on scholarships available for higher education.
• To address Academic & non-academic issues.
• To conduct remedial/co-curricular coaching.

Frequency of Meeting

As per the guidelines of the statutory body, the committee conducts meeting twice in a year.

OBC Committee

As per the guidelines of AICTE approval process handbook for the academic year 2017-18 and the National Commission for Backward Classes Act 1993, No.27 of 1993 and dated 02.04.1993. We have constituted OBC cell to promote the special interest. The OBC students can approach the Liaison Officer of the Cell for redressal of any grievance(s) regarding academic, administrative or social problems.
