GFM Scheme

Objectives

1. It aims to enhance the academic and personal development of MBA & MCA students by providing them with dedicated mentorship and guidance from faculty members.

2. It will benefit students by providing personalized support, career advice, and guidance to help them choose the right specializations for successful professional careers.

Scheme Overview

Heads of Department (HOD’s) of both the MBA & MCA programme, in consultation with the Director will select/allocate the GFM / Mentors to the students. Each faculty member is tasked with mentoring a group of 10-15 students. With the support of GFM, we monitor student’s attendance, academic progress and help them with any required academic and administrative procedures. This scheme creates a supportive and nurturing environment for students, helping to boost their confidence and enhance their skills.

Roles and Responsibilities of Guardian Faculty Members

1. Provide academic guidance and support to assigned students, including selection of specializations (i.e. Major/Minor), project guidance & supervision etc.

2. Provide one-on-one guidance and career advice to help students recognize their strengths, areas for improvement, and career aspirations.

3. Keep track of the attendance and behavior of the students.

4. Give personal emotional support to students.
