A field study visit at Big Bazaar for MBA Students
A field study visit was organized on 8th Sept. 2017 to incorporate the MBA students with the skills of Marketing, Human resource and Operation management practices.
Mr. Raj Mishra the HR Manager in-sighted with the HR perspective in the mall. Mr. Mangesh Kamthe, a senior supervisor at Big Bazaar, given in depth information about the marketing activities (such as sales, promotion, departments & their locations etc.) at the mall. The different tags i.e. hard tag, soft tag, price tag were shown to the students ans also explained the purpose of it.
Mr. Shubhodeep Dasgupta the Operations Manager has provided the information regarding the inventory management system of the mall, FIFO system, types & utilization of floor space etc.
